About Chillifire
Chillifire was founded in 2008 with a very simple idea in mind: create really easy to run and configure wireless hotspots. The online world can be a frustrating one for those who want to offer the web to their clients or the public through hotspots but are scared away by how complicated it all seems. It's our belief that most people don't want to spend a lot of time or effort trying to figure out how to implement and run a multitude of servers and applications just to perform what should be a simple task. A good application should handle all the things you don't want to think about, so you only have to worry about the stuff you do care about.
That's why we are going to great lengths to make each our backend application as well as the firmware (the software running on the router itself) as intuitive as possible for everyone. All the Chillifire applications are created with a user interface that makes all of the core functions easily accessible and easy to use for anyone who can handle basic tasks on a PC.
