Chillifire is a hosted system that alows you to run one or more hotspots remotely. To accomplish this, each Chillifire account holder registers and enters some personal information that enables the Hotspots to function properly. Other uses of this information is for notifications sent to account holders related to Chillifire hotspot user transactions and services. Any information that is entered will not be made public without the consent of the account holder. This personal information includes such things as:
· First name and last names of the account holder,
· Email Address
· City, State, and Zip
· Gender, age, and other, similar personal information,
· Location (e.g., city and state), and
· PayPal, 2Checkout, or other payment solution account information.
The wirteless traffic between an end users device and the router is unencrypted. This is a very common feature of public wireless hotspots, to allow any member of the public to log into the hotspot. It is your resonsibility as hotspot provider to make your hotspot users aware of this.
The system will track time, duration, as well as data usage of the hotspot end users. Via the hotspot account name this can be linked to a PayPal account or even credit card holder, as well as to a user specific device (i.e. laptop). Users of the hotspot are thus identifiable, should local autjorities request information on the usage of your hotspot. The exception is the sale of vouchers, when the trace is only possible to the device used to connect to the hotspot. We recommend therefore that your request personal identification, when selling prepaid hotspot vouchers. In some countries this may even be a legal requirement. It is your responsibility as hotspot provider to uphold your local laws and regulations.
As explained above we do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information, unless required by law or for the protection of your account. The same account for itnernet usage information of hotspot users.
