You may even become a Chillifire partner using your own branding and colour schemes on the web pages and dedicated web servers in your part of the world running your hotspots. So Chillifire is not just directed at the individual, who wants to put their broadband connection to work, but also at entrepreneurs, franchises, and cafe or hotel chains etc, which need an efficient and consistent one-stop corporate hotspot solution for all their various hotspots.
   
   
3. Through this management system you can add your ‘personal touch’ to your account by adding your own slogans and business logo and also your own terms and conditions – if you wish. These co-branding options will help ensure that your customers understand that you provide the solution for them, which will increase their loyalty to you. 5. Once the software is installed on a router, it will establish a secure connection to our management and maintenance server. This allows us to upgrade and maintain the server as well as troubleshoot the router remotely, in the unlikely event this is required.
   
   
6. Chillifire works with an AAA (authorisation, authentication, accounting) server in the background based on the Radius protocol (used by most telecommunications companies). This means session times and other session details are logged. As payment is performed via credit cards a user’s true identity is fully reconcilable, thus complying with the new legal requirements introduced in the US and Europe (soon to be introduced in Australasia) regarding giving access to people to communications infrastructure.
   
   
7. The firmware installed on the router is opensource and freely downloadable via this website. No upfront investment is required unlike most commercial Wifi payment solutions. The management system and the software the end customer is interacting with to purchase their internet access is proprietary software developed by Chillifire. However, to support the opensource community and help the proliferation of Wifi as much as we can, we do not request any software licence fees from our users – not even from our commercial affiliates and partners. The management software and the Radius servers are hosted and managed by us and we finance ourselves through a share of the Wifi fees the hotspots collect through the service we provide to you, our account holder, affiliate or partner.
